Moms Day

This year, Mother's Day was spent quietly at home with a dinner out with my daughter. I still can't believe that I am a mom now for 16 years and counting. Although I am the only parent, it never occurred to me that my family of 2 lacks anything. There may be times when we need her father but it was more of a choice rather than a necessity. I am just glad that me and my daughter easily learned how to live in an unconventional "family" perception.

As I sail through motherhood, I have decided on many things not knowing if I am doing the right thing or not. It was always a challenge to weigh the pros and cons but eventually everything came out alright. There will be more rough roads ahead for sure and I hope that those roads will be paved before we need to pass.

Happy Mother's day (belated) to all SuperMoms!

Much love,

The Only Parent (T.O.P.)
